Shipments and returns

Shipping your package

We ship scooters directly from our warehouse in Hengelo, The Netherlands. Packages are delivered by our parcel service GLS, Fedex or a subcontractor (GLS is our preferred parcel delivery service for over 20 years ). When we ship the package, you will receive a ‘track and trace’ link by e-mail the same day enabling you to track your package any time.

Many customers choose to have their scooter delivered to work or at a neighbour if they are not at home themselves. The driver delivers weekdays between 9am and 5pm.

When you choose a different delivery address, please inform us during the checkout stage of your order.

Your order will not be delivered for free. Most of our boxes are large and heavy and  shipping costs differ, but we try to keep costs as low as possible. It’s also possible to collect the package at our warehouse during weekdays between 9am and 1pm.   

• Ordering between Monday and Thursday at www.STEPSHOP.nl before 4pm?  Your order will be shipped the same day. Within The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium you can expect the package the next working day or the day after.

•Place your STEPSHOP order on Friday, Saturday or Sunday your order will be shipped on Monday evening. Within The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany you can expect the package Tuesday and at the latest Wednesday. Delivery to other countries will unfortunately require a couple of days.

 

Not at home? No problem. You will receive a message in your mailbox with a telephone number of the GLS depot in your area. The package can be picked up at the GLS depot or you can arrange a new delivery date via the GLS Parcel Shop. For Parcel Shop locations please visit the GLS website. Outside of Europe: Fedex will inform you when they will deliver your scooter.

Please note: our shippers do not deliver on Saturdays!

Returning your package

If the colour or size of the scooter does not suit you, please contact us directly  by e-mail or give us a call. You can ship the scooter back at your own expenses. Please note that it is only possible to return a scooter provided that it is 100% unused and not damaged! Within 10 days you will receive your money will be credited to your bank account. Please do not forget to enclose proof of purchase when you return your package.

Please also ensure that the scooter is well packaged so that no damage can occur during transport to our warehouse.  Returned scooters are offered on our SALE-page.
